1. Check what they actually manufacture
The first question is not "how cheap" — it is "do they make this product?" A factory that processes and assembles in-house controls quality end to end. A trading company can quote anything, but their factory changes with every order.
Ask directly: Do you manufacture the complete product in your own facility? Which steps are done in-house?
2. Ask for the production drawing process
A serious factory sends a detailed CAD drawing for approval before production. This is the single best quality signal: it means they work from documents, not memory. If a supplier quotes without asking about your opening sizes and configuration, walk away.
3. Demand order-specific inspection
General photos of a factory prove nothing about your order. Ask what checks will be performed on your batch: trial assembly, hardware testing, glass inspection, packing photos, loading records. A factory that documents each order is a factory that can be held accountable.
4. Verify the packing and loading plan

5. Test with a sample order
Start small. A first order is a test of communication, documentation and delivery discipline as much as product quality. A factory that handles a small order properly will handle a large one properly.
6. Read the after-sales answers
Ask how they record orders and handle replacement parts. The correct answer is specific: order numbers, drawing records, parts identification, response times. Vague answers mean no process.
The shortlist test
Compare factories on the same project scope — same sizes, configuration, glass, finish, quantity. Then compare what is included: hardware, packing, inspection records, loading documentation. The cheapest quote is usually the one with the least included.
